Anthony Lindahl
Anthony Lindahl currently serves as a Resource Room Middle School Teacher in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, he supports students who are underperforming academically or who receive services through an Individualized Education Program (IEP), providing targeted instruction and individualized support.
Anthony holds a Master of Communication with an emphasis in Education from Grand Canyon University, and a Master of Business Administration & Bachelor of Ministerial Leadership from Northwest University. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Organizational Leadership with a specialization in Special Education at Grand Canyon University. In 2024, he also accepted a Doctor of Philosophy in Humanities from United Graduate College and Seminary International.
His research interests focus on developing more inclusive school communities and identifying effective strategies for integrating general education students into inclusive learning environments. He also hopes to establish a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing public awareness and understanding of individuals living with special needs.

Loretta Lindahl
A native of Las Vegas, Nevada, Loretta Lindahl has been married to her husband, Anthony Lindahl, for over thirty years. Together they have raised six children and are blessed with eleven grandchildren. With more than ten years of business experience serving the Las Vegas community, she is passionate about building relationships and supporting others. Her son, Captain, who lives with Autism Spectrum Disorder, has been the greatest inspiration behind her desire to pursue higher education and serve families navigating special needs. Currently Loretta is a full-time caregiver for her son Captain.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Organizational Management from Northwest University and has pursued graduate studies in Special Education at Grand Canyon University. In 2024, she also accepted a Doctor of Philosophy in Humanities from United Graduate College and Seminary International.
She is passionate about Captain’s Place, supporting families, and advocating for children with autism and special needs.
Founder
Guy Williams
Guy is a long-time Las Vegas resident, dating back to 1963, with a few moves to Los Angeles CA, Ft. Lauderdale FL, Portland OR, Denver CO, Minneapolis MN, and Albany NY, where he led various pre-IPO business ventures, two of which succeeded in raising millions, a few were sold to private parties, and a few suffered from hostile takeovers.
When Guy decided to step off the corporate America merry-go-round in 2000; he committed to using the experience gained over a four-decade-long career to pass on that wisdom to business owners, non-profit leaders, and ministry leaders.
Guy formed Community Lifters, Inc., a local 501c3 (pending approval) for the sole purpose of lifting-up local leaders who are committed to the vitality of the Las Vegas community.
DirectorMarc Lindahl
Marc Lindahl holds a Master’s degree in Education and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Grand Canyon University. He began his career as a history teacher, where he developed a passion for helping young people grow academically, socially, and personally.
Marc has spent more than 14 years serving in various ministry roles and organizations, investing in the lives of students and families. He currently serves as a youth pastor, where he is dedicated to mentoring the next generation and creating environments where young people can grow in faith, character, and leadership.
Marc is passionate about supporting families and advocating for children with unique needs. His involvement with Captain’s Place reflects his commitment to helping create opportunities and supportive spaces for children with autism and their families.
Marc and his wife are raising their three children together and value building a strong, faith-centered home. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors and playing guitar.

Aaron Hansel
Aaron and his wife Danita have been pastors in Las Vegas for 32 years. Aaron is currently an executive pastor at International Church of Las Vegas and has actively been involved in anti-human trafficking efforts with FREE International and was a co-producer in the Telly award winning and Emmy nominated documentary Trafficked No More. Aaron is the author of These 3 Words. He and his wife Danita have two amazing children, Isaac and Caleb and currently live in Las Vegas, NV.
